Goliath Home World are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to looking to learn a trade. The role would suit a school leaver who is looking for a practical career where they work as part of a team.

The successful applicant will join the operations team based in Cannock. Working with experienced installation teams under the guidance of an Installations Manager.

This opportunity will be supported with an accredited Level 2 Fenestration Installations Qualification. A basic toolkit and all PPE required for safe working will be provided and becomes the property of the applicant upon completion of the apprenticeship.

As a Windows & Doors Installer Apprentice you will integrate into an installation team progressing from assisting to performing the following;

• Read & understand property survey documents
• Window & door removals
• Window & door preparation & installation
• Measure & cut trims to specific applications
• Clean & mastic seal with adjustments as required
• Onsite health & safety requirements
• Onsite standards such as dust sheets for all work areas inside properties

The role is very physical and requires candidates to be able to lift, cary products and work outdoors as part of the role.

You will be responsible for interacting with colleagues and customers professionally and delivering excellent standards of workmanship & customer service. You will need to complete study towards the apprenticeship which can be completed as part of the working week.
